Wai Fong Construction Precast Yard Project

In February 2024, Wai Fong Construction undertook a Land Transport Authority (LTA) project which required a dependable power solution to support their precast yard activities, including the operation of 8 gantry cranes and a site office. Located in an area with no access to grid power, the site posed significant challenges in terms of energy reliability, operational efficiency, and emissions reduction.

Project Results
By replacing eight sets of diesel generators (x5 90kVA, x1 250kVA, x2 300kVA) with Infinity Cube’s Hybrid BESS System, featuring one Infinity Cube M and a 400kVA synchronising generator, Wai Fong Construction was able to significantly reduce both the number and size of generators on site. This optimised setup led to a substantial decrease in annual diesel consumption, delivering major cost savings while significantly lowering carbon emissions.
